Join Illowa Council Scouting America and Crawford Brew Works for our 2nd Annual Pintwood Derby!
Get your car kit (or kits!) and get building for this fun event!
WHO: All Adults 21 and older
WHEN: July 17, 2025
TIME: Check-in starts at 5:00 pm, Race Starts at 6:00 pm. Awards to follow!
WHERE: Crawford Brew Works, 3659 Devils Glen Rd, Bettendorf, IA
COST: $45/Person – Each ticket includes race fee for one car, two drink tickets, and a souvenir glass. Bring your glass back to Crawford any time in 2025 for $1 off drinks!
CARS: You can:
- Purchase your car kit(s) from the Illowa Scout Shop at 4412 N Brady St, Davenport, IA. Hours are:
- Tuesday – Friday, 10:00am – 5:30pm. Closed from 1:30-2:00pm for lunch.
- Saturday, 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Purchase them online at scoutshop.org.
- Don’t have the time (or the skills?) to build your own? We’ll have cars at the event that you can choose from to race!
