2026 Camp Staff Application
Camp requires a certain person with a willingness to be of service. The days are long and the nights are short but the rewards are greater than you can imagine. Take a moment to read our staff qualifications: The minimum age requirement to be on Camp Staff is 15 years of age by June 1st. Additionally, all staff (paid or volunteer) must: Be registered members in good standing with Scouting America before being offered employment. The principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law must be practiced as a way of life. The staff sets an example of excellence in Scouting which includes the proper wearing of the uniform. Staff members agree to report on time for training and remain until the training session ends. Failure to do so will result in dismissal. Staff members are required to reside in housing provided by the Illowa Council. Proof of citizenship will be required at time of employment. Having attained the Scouting America Eagle Rank or Venturing Silver Award is a plus, but is not required.
