Golf Tournament
Join the Illowa Council’s Golf Tournament to support under resourced youth in our 13-county service area. Your participation helps fund ‘camperships’ for Scouts. Activities include a putting contest, BB-gun range, and auctions. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Enjoy a day filled with golf, auctions, and scouting activities while making a difference.
Scouting Clays Classic
The Annual Scouting Clays Classic, set for the second Friday and Saturday each year in August, supports over 2,000 youth and 1,500 adult leaders in Scouting through events like shooting competitions, auctions, and dinners. This significant fundraiser, having raised $1 million to date, offers diverse participation options, from shooting teams to attending as a guest.
Giving Overview
The Illowa Council, serving the Quad Cities area, depends on donations to fund Scouts BSA programs. Contributions support the Friends of Scouting campaign, maintenance of facilities, camp scholarships, and leader training, with matching gifts and special events bolstering efforts. Donors can also contribute to the Illowa Council Endowment Fund to secure long-term program sustainability.
