About this Course
The NRA REQUIRES that all NRA Rifle Instructor candidates first successfully complete the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course, regardless of shooting experience.
In this course, you will learn:
- NRA’s safe gun handling rules
- Rifle parts & operation
- Ammunition
- Shooting fundamentals
- Range rules
- Bench Rest, Prone, Sitting, standing, & Kneeling shooting positions
- Gun Cleaning
This course includes classroom and range time to learn how to shoot rifles.
