Illowa Council Cub Scout Day Camp – 6/22-26

Illowa Council Cub Scout Day Camp

Hosted by the Kittan District

We’ve got some great opportunities for Cub Scouts to enjoy a Jurassic Journey themed dinosaur day camp!

Get ready to travel back in time for a roaring adventure! Scouts will dig through advancement adventures, tackle prehistoric challenges, play dino-sized games, and explore the great outdoors like true explorers. Adventure and tons of fun await – because at Jurassic Journey, Cub Scouts rule the prehistoric world!

Illowa Cub Scouts who attend day camp will spend each day with a den of Scouts of a similar age. Together, they will visit program areas for shooting sports, 9 square, and stomp rockets. They’ll participate in field sports, plus enjoy arts, crafts, and swimming. Older Cub Scouts will hone their Scout skills. Fun will be had by all!

Day Camp is a place for Cub Scouts to test themselves, participate in new activities, make new friends, and learn something along the way. We can’t wait to see you at Day Camp!

  • This requirement must be met for each individual rank. Adults cannot be combined across ranks to meet ratios.

  • Packs sending fewer than 5 Scouts in a rank should be prepared to provide additional adult coverage, which may require an adult to attend multiple days.

Scouts will not be permitted to participate without the required supervision in place.

If your pack is not attending day camp that’s no reason for to miss out on the adventure. A scout and their adult partner may attend day camp as family unit. They will be matched with a den of scouts the same age. ***Please note that registration will be through Tentaroo. It is easiest to register as a Pack, but registration can be done individually. You will need to create a Tentaroo account. Contact [email protected] if you are a Pack leader registering your Scouts and need additional help.

DEN WALKERS: If you are signing up your Cub Scout to attend Day Camp and you also have a non-Scout sibling that you need to bring with you, please contact Tami Marshall (contact info above) to make arrangements. This is done on a case-by-case basis.
